How is the Recommendations Report created?
The Alberta government is in the process of creating a draft North Saskatchewan Regional Plan. During this process, a council of Albertans attended meetings located at various locations across the region. There were a total of eight multiday meetings throughout 2014. The council is made up of 27 Albertans who have an interest in the region – they live, work and play in the area.
The meetings included sessions by government agencies about policies, issues and potential land use strategies. There were guest speakers and opportunities for discussion. All opinions in the Recommendations Report are considered informed opinion.
Download the Recommendations Report and complete the survey. Input will be accepted until May 4, 2018.
UPDATE: The survey is closed by the Recommendations Report from the North Saskatchewan Regional Advisory Council is available here.
Does the RAC’s Recommendations Report remain online somewhere? I’m interested in obtaining a copy because there are a lot of different opinions being shared online about what it recommended for the Westcountry/Bighorn. I checked my files and can’t find a copy. I think I downloaded it when I completed the survey but I’m not have saved it.
thanks
