Wetlands are among the most prevalent and complicated ecosystem in Alberta. You can find wetlands in the prairie regions and in the forest in northern Alberta.
The goal of the free e-course, Alberta Wetlands 101, is to help professionals, citizens and land owners understand the complexity of wetlands and learn how the provinces supports the ongoing management of wetlands.
With videos and short quizzes, you can learn about the history, biology and management of wetlands in Alberta. Participants can receive an optional certificate of completion by answering all the quizzes in the online course.
