Distribution of Freshwater – Glaciers and Icefields – https://open.canada.ca/
As a large source of freshwater in Canada, glaciers and icefields are important natural masses of ice that are located in Arctic and mountain regions. Around 2 per cent of Canada’s land mass is covered in glaciers and icefields, including in regions in Alberta.
Natural Resources Canada provides maps and datasets of the distribution of glaciers throughout Canada. All data and image sets are available for download.
