About the North Saskatchewan Regional Plan

The North Saskatchewan Regional Plan is in development and will be the third plan to be implemented in the province. It will outline the vision for the region, including a strategic plan, implementation plan and regulatory details.

Covering over 85,780 square kilometres, the North Saskatchewan region makes up around 13% of the province in area. It stretches from the Rocky Mountains to the Saskatchewan border and includes Edmonton, Lloydminster, Camrose, Drayton Valley and Rocky Mountain House.
