A new report from the Environmental Law Centre reviews Alberta’s management of instream flow and recommends changes to policies in order to maintain future water supplies for the province.
The report reviews the current challenges facing Alberta’s water management system under the current policies, notably the Water Act. These challenges are further complicated with a need to adapt, mitigate and prepare for resilience in the face of climate change.
