Conservation Easements in Alberta is a resource created by the Environmental Law Centre and Miistakis Institute to offer information and answers related to conservation easements in Alberta.

Since 1996, conservation easements have been a tool in Alberta to conserve land through the collaboration of private land owners, land trusts, municipalities and the provincial government. The scope of conservation easements was expanded in 2009 to include protection of agriculture.
