Natural Resources Canada has a list of Canadian municipalities and their solar photovoltaic potential: download the photovoltaic and solar resource maps. The spreadsheets have estimates for the potential of electricity generated and the average daily insolation (ie. the amount of solar radiation that impacts that location).
