Alberta municipalities are invited to join the Alberta Municipal Benchmarking Initiative to help create benchmarks for municipal services.

Since 2012, the Alberta Municipal Benchmarking Initiative has been promoting continuous improvement by collecting and comparing data from municipalities. The initiative has resulted in seven reports:

Transit (May 2018)
Snow and Ice (April 2018)
Roadways (November 2017)
Solid Waste (May 2017)
Wastewater (May 2017)
Fire Protection (January 2017)
Drinking Water (November 2015)
